The run began on the outskirts of the village next to the football ground.
The route was basically round the mountain which dominates the village.
It began by going up ... and up … and up. The views across the valley were spectacular.
The beer stop was on a long promontory of rock overlooking the village.
Thence the route took through a gorge which took us round and back down to the circle point. Making this the only A to A run.
