Hash Narrative:
It was going to be hot that was for certain but with the promise of water, Little Eve was keen to go and so was I, a few excess drinking days over the last week needed to be taken care of.

A nice shady spot had been found by the dry river bed, and a likely group of 25 hashers met of course still taking care of the social distancing rules.

Off we went, Eve raring to go, I was quick to follow right, straight down what I call white boulder river. Soon the calls of no flour where’s the flour, check around. So I did through the spiky scrubby stuff and I found flour. On On Eve leading the way, no one to be seen not even JSW.

Onto a check I had no choice Eve was already in the water and continuing down the river bed, I found flour so I carried on not spoiling a nice check for anyone behind!

Great trail, Eve was loving it, then we came to a wimp and Macho trail choice, being a bit of a wimp I was heading off out of the river bed but Little Eve had other plans, again I had no choice and so on down the river bed we went, she was swimming by now, I had wet feet so we were in a good stride.

A big rock to the right, or a slippery slope?? We chose the big rock, I threw up my water bottle and the dog lead and had just dragged Little Eve up by the harness when I heard the dulcet Northern tones ON ON it was JSW. At last I thought. I was just climbing down when she flew past me like a mountain goat, feet hardly touching the ground.

“On On it’s not much further and we will be out” Nothing like a bit of local knowledge!!. Eve managed a lot more swims before the elusive exit to the river bed appeared, and the by now dreaded hill climb was looming, a split “I am going this way, it’s my personal choice it’s rockier and a better view” shouted JSW.
Needless to say I took the low road which ended up in the same place, then a great run around the mountain, where I came across Rubherturd and Red Hot Chilli just appearing from the river bed, must have been on the wimpy trail although I was certain Rubherturd was right behind me at one point. Apparently he doesn’t do rock climbing so had gone back.

It was hellish for me after that. I don’t do uphill. And it was, all the way to the beer stop. A cold one and off we went. I was determined to do the whole macho trail now and, you could almost see the cars so I knew it was not too far, I couple of hills trying to keep up with JSW we came to a Check back, JSW went to the left I took the right, I was wrong so a bit of a scrabble down the prickly path, and I met JSW telling me all about a horrible trail she had to go on something about ravines and one foot in the hole!

Anyway a few strides later and we are back at the cars, Shade was discovered, and the circle was called, sitting of course as it is sooo hot, thanks GM XX -

We had no returners, two anniversaries Streaky 515 and Gang Bang 340 run mark was 8.6 Colonic was there but we couldn’t see him, he was camouflaged to perfection! We had the usual misdemeanours punished, Rubherturd had a great one, obviously too much Facebook time, apparently he was telling the lovely Spermaid about some blond who was asking where to put the gas into a Tesla, Spermaid said, where do you put the gas in?

It was then pointed out that although the group spoke English, of 25 of us only 9 were actually English, a truly international Hash, A verse of swing low was sung as is tradition, and the circle was closed.

Oh no it wasn’t, there was still an hour to go before the restaurant opened. So much for keeping the circle short!
