Hash Narrative:

We flew in run for the memorial run of Beau Geste on the 2nd of August. The run was set on his ashes by Pussy Galore & Dogs Bollox starting at El Rengo.

It was a blistering hot day but we had a fair few amount of hashers that joined us! Great to see everyone remembering Beau Geste and the good old days.

Up the hills we went, it was easier to find the Macho run than the actual trail. Many people were fooled by the long falses but we arrived at the beer stop delighted with with cheese, wine, cava and even a demonstration from wild boars.Then we continued along the paseo maritimo until we returned to El Rengo.

The run score was 9.5, our visitors from Netherlands named our ‘new’ hasher Super Pooper, much better than Portaloo!! The Virgin never wants to do it again but she will come back. They all say that. 20 of us had lovely meals and continued the night until the were only a few left, drinking one last drink in traditional Beau Geste style before hitting the road.
