I believe it was a 2.30p.m start but there was a problem with the pin.
Clearly a shortage of signage and flour but the merry group gathered in the wrong place chatting. No contact with the hares so deliberations about what to do? Colonic took the initiative and we followed in convoy by car to stop further down the road looking perplexed. Suddenly an about turn to the way we had come from and a cheeky little right turn (unmarked)
Hallelujah nearly 30 minutes late we arrived. In fairness the more intelligent hashers had found the start themselves.
Not a great start but enthusiasm not diminished ,we embarked on the run.
Pleasant campo with undulating terrain. Split trails with a choice of hill or smoother gradient ( no mention of macho or whimp ???) A new variation on an old theme?? Some decided to deviate a little culminating in arrival at the drinks stop 20 minutes into the hash.
“ THIS IS NOT A DRINKS STOP CARRY ON!!”
Table was set up and Mummy,s boy was happily imbibing cava but not a drinks stop!!!!
The FRB,s soon arrived and decided to quench their thirst at the not a drink stop stop. Mayhem.....
Pearl Necklace in order to salvage the situation assumes hostess with the mostess delivering a wonderful display of olives, garlic, manchega cheese and bread recently purchased at Malaga market. Fresh and delicious.
Replete from this wonderful feast no one was too concerned about lack of distance.
In fact there was a tremendous sense of camaraderie and fun,
A fairly short on in back to celebrate the funniest hash.
Colonic absolved us of our sins.
40 hashers including 2 virgins.
A run score of 9.3
Several anniversarios: French Erection 245 runs, Kindergarten Cop 703 runs, Just SayWhen 480 runs.
To sum up. Well done to 2 inexperienced hares for volunteering to set a run. It was great fun, we laughed at you but all was done in the best possible way!!!!
On after to Pura Asia for the usual value feast.
