Hares – Just Say When and Semen Stains At - Naciamento Coin
After an incredible storm two days previous, where cars were actually washed away on the streets of Alhaurin el Grande, the ground was a little wet. But this of course was nothing to the hardy athletes of the Mijas Hash.
The hares manages to find a shady spot for the circle, so well done to them … thus far at least! The route was largely under the pines and twisted it's way to the Beer Stop after around 4k. After this there was an extra, Macho, loop which we somehow managed to foreshorten to return to circle to make a total of around 5.5K for the whole route. The run was ultimately awarded a creditable score of 9.4. However a few people did complain that it was not long enough. This was annoying for Just Say When because she had had to wotk very hard to make a short run. As we all know, making short runs for her is very difficult!
Previously, the Arch Dickon, From Behind had asked me if he should bring some ice to the circle and I had encouraged him to do this, not realising that would be the first one to sit on it. However I was not the only to enjoy its cooling touch, for many other hashers got to enjoy the privelidge.
Anniversarios were … Red Hot Chillie – 40, Appy Ending – 105, King Canute – 165, Semen Stains – 210, Sticky Tart – 280, Salmonella Rushdi – 325, Streaky 500, Kindergarden 575 and Mummies Boy 660.
The (excellent) On On was at Casa Semen Stains with cooking done by Appy Ending … and was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Well done you two and thankyou!
