Hares – King Canute and RubherTurd At - Lauro near Alhaurin el Grande
The Germans once again paired up for their third attempt in this general location to try and make a decent run. And I guess it could be said that they succeeded, though it could also be said that they were something of a distance away from succeeding.
After three previous days of rain storms, the ground was surprisingly dry.
The route took us up and along the major trails of the area. Almost all the route consisted of tracks that were wide enough for two cars to pass, and I think that with a little more enterprise they could have found some of the many tiny little trails that abound in this area. (Just ask Just Say When!)
The bright spot of the run was the beer stop which was in a spectacular location with views across the Guadalhorce Valley to the mountains beyond.
The on in ws simply a walk back down the same route that we had come, somewhat disappointing!
Back at the circle the hares were a little fortunate to be awarded an 8.7, though that, apparently, didn't include the two Hash shit votes. There were no anniversarios as Red Hot Chilli, the assistant hash cash, was deputising and did not have the records.

From Malaga and Alhaurin de la Torre on the A404.
Go straight through the Lauro Golf roundabout and turn left after 3,3 km into Urbanisation San Jorge and up Cl Hierbabuena for 600 m, right for 60 m and then left up Camino Forrestal 600 m.
From Alhaurin el Grande.
Turn right opposite Hotel El Mirador and go straight up Cl Tomillo and Camino Forrestal.
Will be signposted from the A404.
