So no problem with the run setting off at around 3.

I’d just arrived back in Mijas a couple of days before on a long distance flight, so I was ready for some serious exercise!

‘Golden Cascade’ was sadly, nowhere to be seen. She had laid the run and, being the party girl (that we know her to be) had abandoned the Hash for a party. We could have done with some ‘Golden‘ rays.

‘Kindergarten Cop’ attempted to organised us all and gave us the low down on the run signs, but failed to inform us that white flour having been laid on or even beside a white stone road, would prove to be just a tad bit tricky to pick out the trail!

The trail was long, with no shorter options for the challenged. After much interesting conversation with ‘Cabin Boy’, (yes, one can have interesting conversations even on the Hash) I discovered the whole pack had totally disappeared leaving us and the much grumbling ‘Psychedelic’, or should that be Psycho- Delic ?

Anyway, we came upon, perhaps I should re-phrase that, in hind sight and rather phrase this better perhaps as, we discovered 2 lost Hash souls. One being Argentinian señorita (Chile ed.) and the other a French femme fatal. They had been abandoned by a Dutch Diver, or so the story went! I managed to save the day and having found the CB and once we were back on trail, Sir Galahad in the form of ‘Aphrodisiac’ arrived in his red charger to rescue the damsels in distress and thus, put his name to rights.

I meanwhile staggered on up the hill past an amazing cave house and even more amazing rock face with flowing overhanging formations similar to that of lava flows. ‘ON IN’. ‘Oh’ I sighed relief after maybe 2 ½ hours of trekking through marvellous countryside, up hill and down dale. However, it was not to be as the actual circle site was far from the ‘ON IN’.

Having come across yet another Sir Galahad, in the form of ‘Muslim’ and my Sir Lancelot, me of course being Guinevere to ‘Rob The Knob’ had come to my rescue. I was not the one who needed rescuing, but ‘Psychodelic’ was lost far behind, back in the valley below.

Then the rain started (yes by this time it was 6 o’clock, as per forecast) and just as I was welcomed into the circle. I certainly got more exercise than expected! Our spirits were not dampened as ‘Rob The Knob’ entertained us with a Chaucerian style tale about ale, strumpet and a donkey. Muslim came up with an amusing News feature on suicide.

I believe that ‘Rob the Knob’, ‘Muslim’, ‘Cabin Boy’ and myself need to book some sessions on the Hash Psychologist’s couch, having spent far too much time with Psycho-delic!

The ‘ON ON’ was held at La Fuenta, whose kitchens did us proud with a hearty supper and we all agreed ‘What a brilliant night’.
