The Limonar exit on the A7 is just 30 min from Fuengirola and The Enchanted Forest proved to offer surprisingly good running country with lots of shady protections against the Spanish summer sun.
A good turnout incl Singapore visitors and returner Juliana who brought along her cousin from Venezuela. He seems to be good Hashing material judging from his after run comments how the Hash could improve by later runtimes, more paper and water.
Anyways, after the usual photo session the pack took out and started the first climbs and checks which slowed this scribe seriously down as choose not to follow Just Say When down the steep hill where paper could be seen at the bottom.
Passed Stiffanny who had taken cover under a shady tree halfway up a very long climb and finally catching up with the frontrunners incl Sir Flakey, Ayam and the Singapore visitors. Many hills later and rather exhausted after having done 8 km in the heat of the day, we ended up at the beer stop where drank some softies as water was exhausted.
Chose to accompany King Kanute for the direct paved road back to the car park and drove back to the beer stop spot where the circle took place.
Great Cypriot chicken and salads incl vegan as alternative was served by Happy Days and enjoyed by all. Fine wine as well.

Run comments generally positive but more paper and water would have done the trick for a top score.
The Enchanted Forest would make a great running area for winter or spring and hope to be back in Malaga and The Limonar area another good time.
In the absence of the newly elected GM, founder Sir Flakey conducted the circle in his usual grand style. Circle location great, shady and no mozzies.

Directions:
If you are coming from the west get onto the A-7 heading in the direction of Malaga. Stay on the A-7, passing Malaga and following signs for Almeria.
Come off the A-7 at junction 244. Take the first exit at the roundabout at the end of the slip road.
At the second roundabout take the first exit. At the third roundabout go straight across. At the fourth roundabout take the first exit.
Look here for hash chalk sign on the road. Continue down this road for about 200m and turn left into a dry river bed for the run site.

If you don't do this, the caterer will FREAK OUT!
